2x pears (peeled & halved)
1x thumb-size knob of fresh ginger, sliced.
2x cinnamon quills
2x star anise
4 cups water
2 tsp. vanilla essence
1 tbs. brown sugar
1 tbs. milk
3 tbs. cottage cheese
1 tbs honey
1 tbs ground cinnamon
Step 1: Preheat oven to 180 C/ 356 F.
Step 2: Combine all pear ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves for 3 minutes.
Step 3: Add pears & liquid mixture to a baking pan and place in oven for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
Step 4: Combine all sauce ingredients in a blender
Step 5: Serve pear with sauce and sauce from baking tray. Garnish with cinnamon quill and star anise. Enjoy!
